Hello World!

Welcome,

I’ve finally decided to start writing and posting some reflections from my tech background, and of all places, on Substack!

I have been contemplating this for a while now, and I realise that it takes time and effort to produce a good quality piece of writing.

But there are a few reasons why I finally decided to put pen (or keyboard?) to paper.

Firstly, with the advent of AI, there is a lot of content available online. However, good quality, experiential content is still scarce—the kind of stuff you learn from working in the trenches. Therefore, it makes sense to share curated experiential knowledge with the community.

Secondly, we are all very time-poor. We all want to focus on what really matters. That's where experience counts, and in this case, my content will focus on things that really matter. I will keep my content short and to the point—something that you can cover in 10-15 minutes, like on your way to work or while having a cuppa! I will also add audio to my posts, so you can listen if you don't have the time to read.

Finally, I have learned a lot from those who came before me, so I owe it to them to pass on what I have learned to those who come after me.

My content will mostly focus on reflections on tech, startups, and capital allocation—topics about which I am passionate.

And…from time to time, I will also attempt to invite guests to share their thoughts.
